New build detached house

Planning constraints and location of the property within a traditional Kent village dictated that the design of the property had to match the surrounding properties, hence the bricks were sourced from a traditional handmade brick quarry and the timbers were produced by a local joinery company from detailed drawings supplied by the client. The house was situated on a sloping site next to a cliff and surrounded trees that were to be retained, Making the groundwork’s and substructure particularly challenging.

Client Testimonial:

I do want to thank you for all you have done for me over the years. Our house is so lovely and I do appreciate your patience when I couldn’t make up my mind about changes and extras. I know it was a difficult site and the opposition from the locals didn’t help. Once completed though, it was admired by everyone.
