An extensive renovation of a victorian three bedroom terrace has been completed. During the renovation every effort was made to retain the original features including corniche coving and other plasterwork. Where feature had deteriorated, new coving was formed on site to match the original. Whilst efforts were made to retain the charm of the property, alterations including an additional bathroom, utilty room and full window replacement was carried out to allow for modern living.
In order to maximise the value of the house footprint HGT were asked to build a utility room into a redundant space at the side of a semi-detached house. The additional space allowed the occupant to fully exploit the kitchen as a kitchen diner by placing the boiler and white goods in the extention.
